After almost thirty years in the Army, we have settled on one of the oldest farms in Rowan County to give it our best. Chris, an Army brat from many places, and Teli whose family has always been in Eastern Kentucky, found a holler between two ridges to call their own. Middle Ground Farm is our family dream, nestled between two ridge lines, backing up to the Daniel Boone National Forest and just minutes from Morehead, KY and I-64. Inspired by assignments in Italy, we are growing a variety of fruits and vegetables for the community and local brewery. We will soon be expanding into goats, sheep, hogs and cattle and offer experiences to include shepherd for a day, on-site short term stays, and specialty dinners.
